When I awoke in Second Life
s London Sims this morning, readers, and came out of my new cottage in Hyde park, I glanced up at Big Ben to check the time and look who I saw perched on my roof. I know its the Chinese Year of the Horse but this is ridiculous!
Then, I decided to head over to the Coach and Horses pub to set some things up for events there.
But, as I passed through Marble Arch and looked up who do you think I saw?
Yes he was back – and obviously following me!
So, I looked up the significance of seeing Pegasus about the place – apart, of course, from insanity!
A dream interpretation website was helpful and gave me some pointers on what he may mean.
“PEGASUS: (The flying Horse) symbolically is represents vitality and the strength of the horse, and with weightlessness as it flies like a bird. It symbolizes the indomitable poetic spirit overcoming the impediments of the world.”
And, should he want to cross the road by more conventional means , it seems that real- life London`s Hyde Park Corner is already prepared!
“A Pegasus crossing (UK; also equestrian crossing) is a type of signalised pedestrian crossing with special consideration for horseriders. This type of crossing is nicknamed after the mythical winged horse, Pegasus. They are primarily used in the United Kingdom” Wikipedia
Maybe he came to remind me to tell you all about the events in the Coach and Horses pub this week.
We are in the pub for our usual Trivia Quiz on Thursday 15th May at Midday SLT ,with a double DJ bonus. Both DJ BlackBonez and DJ Pyp will be spinning some tunes. You can also win 10L per question if yours is the first correct answer which appears on my screen.
Then, over the weekend , we are doing not one but two events in Hyde Park.
On Friday 16th May DJ Molly will be on the decks as we have a Park Pyjama Party at 10am SLT.
Then, on Saturday 17th we will be having “Best in Black” contest in Hyde with DJ Black Bones.
So, come and party with us, and you might even spot my winged horse stalker about the place!
